Our boat date to Deception Pass
Orca whale dorsal finThis weekend we went up to Rikki's Grandparents house on Biz Point up in Anacortes. The house is awesome, right on the water with a dock. It was the first week of crabbing season. Rikki's dad has a nice little fishing boat so we spent some time fishing and pulling up crab pots. We ate like kings, dining on crab salad and crab omlettes. Rikki and I went for a boat ride Sunday morning to Deception Pass and had fun driving through the strong currents. On our way we stopped and watched a pod of Orca (killer) whales. There were about three adults and two babies. It was a great weekend to get away and relax.

Wow, I've never seen a crab that big! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend...can't wait until we can come visit and see all the beauty WA has to offer!! Miss you both more than you'll ever know. Love, ME!
