Foundation Hole
Today we had the foundation hole dug. An excavator came and removed 4 stumps and then dug out where the house will go. He started about 10am and was finished by 3pm. It was fun to watch it work. As Aunt Diane said, thank goodness for the Industrial Revolution. It's the first real big change of scenery so it really felt like things are starting to move forward.

Biz Point Crabbing
This weekend we went up to Rikki's Grandparents house on Biz Point up in Anacortes. The house is awesome, right on the water with a dock. It was the first week of crabbing season. Rikki's dad has a nice little fishing boat so we spent some time fishing and pulling up crab pots. We ate like kings, dining on crab salad and crab omlettes. Rikki and I went for a boat ride Sunday morning to Deception Pass and had fun driving through the strong currents. On our way we stopped and watched a pod of Orca (killer) whales. There were about three adults and two babies. It was a great weekend to get away and relax.
